About HeyDENA!

A community-owned digital stronghold built by and for the people of Altadena and Pasadena.

Our Origins

HeyDENA! is more than an app—it's our community's digital stronghold. Born in the heart of Altadena and Pasadena, this platform was built by and for the people, especially those deeply rooted in our neighborhoods and directly impacted by the recent devastating wildfire crisis.

The vision came from Pastors Jon DeCuir and AnGele Cade of Victory Bible Church, who saw firsthand how vulnerable families—especially undocumented—were being left behind and threatened.

Our Mission

In response, they united with QualityWorks and Shared Harvest Fund Technologies and created a secure, community-owned tool with a purpose: to restore, rebuild, and revive.

Our mission is simple but powerful: hold our community together and hold the line against data thieves and predatory actors. HeyDENA! streamlines Care Management in disasters and connects people with the resources they need through the organizations they trust—without sacrificing their dignity or their data.

Community-Driven Technology

Through shared ownership and secure tech, we're redefining how communities protect themselves and how data can be used for good.

HeyDENA! Is public interest empathy-driven technology at its best! And this is just the beginning. As we grow, every person who contributes to HeyDENA! will have the opportunity not just to access support—but to learn and earn from the data they choose to share. It's community-driven with equity at the center.
